What is Mochi Clash?
Mochi Clash is a free, real-time tapping battle. Every tap on the mochi adds a point to your country and your region, and everyone in the world competes on the same live leaderboard.
How is my team chosen?
Your team is based on where you're connecting from. Everyone plays for their country; players in the US also play for their state, and players in Korea for their province. Players elsewhere compete in the country battle.
Can I switch teams?
No. Teams follow your connection location, so you can't pick one. That keeps the competition about real places and real people.
Why didn't some of my taps count?
To keep auto-clickers out, each player can only add a limited number of taps per second. Tapping by hand stays well under the limit. Extra taps from bots or scripts are dropped.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no login โ just open the page and start tapping.
Is my personal tap count saved?
Your own tap count is stored only in your browser on this device. Clearing your browser data resets it. Team scores are stored on our server and aren't affected.
How often does the leaderboard update?
Every few seconds. Your own taps show up on screen instantly and are sent to the server in small batches.
What does the overtake alert mean?
When one team passes another on the leaderboard, you'll see a ๐ฅ alert. Alerts involving your own team are shown first.
How do I get my friends to help?
Tap "Call your friends" to share a link through Messages, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X, WhatsApp, Discord and more. The link shows your team's current rank.
Which languages are supported?
English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish and Chinese. The game follows your browser language, and you can change it anytime with the ๐ menu at the top.
Is Mochi Clash free?
Yes. Mochi Clash is free to play and supported by ads.
Will the scores ever reset?
There are no seasons right now. If we introduce seasonal resets, we'll announce it on this page first.
