Mochi Clash ("the Service") has no accounts and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address or phone number. This policy explains what information the Service does handle and how.

Information we process

  • IP address: used only for rate limiting to stop auto-clickers. Rate-limit records expire automatically after a few seconds.
  • Approximate location (country and state/province): determined from your IP address by our hosting provider (Vercel) and used only to decide which team your taps count for. We store team totals only — nothing tied to you as an individual.
  • Data stored on your device: your personal tap count, sound setting and mochi flavor are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, referring sites, approximate country and device type. It uses no cookies, and visitors are only distinguished by an anonymous value that resets daily, so it can't identify you.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, request time) for a limited period for security and operations.

Advertising and cookies

When you share through another app (X, Instagram and so on), you are taken to that app or site, and its own privacy policy applies from there. The Service may show ads from third parties, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

  • You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of other third-party vendors' cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used.

  • Upstash Inc. — storage for team scores and rate-limit records
  • Google LLC — advertising (AdSense) and fonts for share images
  • Kakao Corp. — KakaoTalk sharing (only when you choose it)

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
